Sparkling Sunflowers

Our secret sister round just finished up over on SCS so I have a few things I haven't been able to share yet. One of the first challenges was to make a card using a flower image. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers so I made this little cutie.

The picture doesn't do it justice, the flowers were done with water color crayons to try to get all shades you would normally see in a sunflower. Then on the center I added some glitter to really make them pop!! Happy Stamping!

Pink and Red

Here's a cute card I made using pink's and red's.

I don't usually use they colors and I almost always stay away from pink but I really like these colors together. They sure make a since bright cheery card! Happy Stamping!

Teacher's Gift Box

I was going through my folder of stamp projects looking to see what I would post today and I saw this cute little project:

I had made it for my son's teacher for LAST year as a Thank You gift ... school's getting ready to start again and I'm just now sharing it. Where has the summer gone?!?! I actually used the apple from Tart and Tangy to make it look like peaches. It was close enough!! Happy Stamping!!

Tropical Fish

Ocean Commotion was originally only in the Australian catty and I was so glad when they put it in last years catty for the US. It is definitely a great set to use!! The fish is perfect for the rock and roll technique!!

I've never done paper piercing before this card ... I've had all the tools or quite some time but never actually used them. It does add a nice little added touch to your cards.

Thank You

I had to make several Thank You cards for some of our Cub Scout pack leaders and here one of them that I made.

I made this one monochromatic in yellows since it's a bright and cheery color. To do the center I used pop glue dots and micro beads! It added the perfect touch!! Happy Stamping!!

Choo Choo 6x6

I love the train sets we get and always buy them ... each on we have had for the last five years. I really like the style of this one. It's a good thing I haven't scrapped my boys younger years yet because they will be very handy!

My scrap pages are usually very simple because I want the pictures to be the main focal point and the scrapping to just enhance them. I free handed and cut the balls to add to the one train piece. Happy Stamping!

Candy Cover

Who doesn't chocolate? In my house you have to keep it hidden or it will be gone before you know it!! I live in a household full of guys so one of the best ways to hide it is to wrap it in a girlie wrap!! I did this one for a friend and sure enough they stayed away!

Happy Stamping!!

Forest Friends Case

Every once in a while I see a card that I just have to make. My Creations is probably one of my favorite sites to check out because every time I go I find something that is just too cute. Take this next card I made for example:

It was a CASE I did of Ilina's forest friends card. I did change a few things but it is pretty close to what she made. I am so glad that this set made it into the New Catty!! Speaking of new catty you can find a link to it on my side inside bar. I love it and I'm sure you all will too! Happy Stamping!
