No Stamping

I don't think I have ever made a card with absolutely no stamping on it ....

I think it came out well! I used some left over rub ons I had when I made the glitter ornaments. Happy Stamping!!

Christmas Giftables Class - Project #4

Here is project number 4! These are rather simple to make if you have a little patience.

All you do is take the clear glass bulbs drop some reinker into and roll it around until it is covered entirely. It does talk a bit but well worth the wait. After the ink has covered the glass ball then you sprinkle in the glitter. I then added a bit of ribbon and a rub on. Happy Stamping!!

Technique Tuesday - Scrapbook Page Purse

I finally had a chance to put a tutorial together. Several of you asked for one showing how to make the pouch I had showed last week. So here it is!

First start off with a 6x6 scrapbook page. You are going to cut off the edge that has the holes.

For the main piece you will need to cut down a piece of cardstock to be 6 1/2 x 9 1/2. You will score at 6 1/2 to create the flap.

Tape down your scrapbook page to the 6 1/2 area of the cardstock.

Slide in a piece of 6x6 decorative card stock into the scrapbook page. Add velco to the flap so that you have something to open and close the flap. I found it I had the velco pieces attached together then place on the flap then close the flap then the piece will be aligned perfectly.

Cut a piece of card stock to fit on the top flap I cut my piece to 6 x 2 1/2. Tape down to the top flap.

Cut a half circle out using your circle punch. Sometimes it doesn't cut through all the way so just finish the cut with your scissors.

Using your hole punch to punch out a circle on both sides at the crease line of your flap. This will be where you run the ribbon through.

Run ribbon through the whole and make a knot. Do this on both sides to create your handle.

Add rub on's or other touches to the outside corner of scrapbook page. Decorate the top flap. I will share with you all tomorrow the final project. Happy Stamping!

Gift Boxes

The other day I was scrounging around for something to put a bunch of mini clear stamps in. At first I was thinking about making a paper box holder for them but that didn't turn out so well. So I decided that since I have a million few extra clamp boxes my stamps come in I would alter a couple. The white looks better in person but the black really pops out. I used the rub ons from saleabration and I rubbed them onto the paper because I didn't want them to wear off from the box. I slipped the paper into the inside top edge where there are these small notches that hold it in just perfectly.
I'm not sure if I mentioned this lately but being a SU! demo is great and SU! has some of the best customer service. My last order had a mistake and this was the first mistake in the 5 years I've been a demo. I've had a few mishaps which were more due to UPS, you know broken boxes, package being left in the rain, etc and SU! always came through on those too. But my last order they accidentally sent one wrong stamp set. So of course I got the package late Friday and Monday was a holiday so I had to wait until Tuesday to call. When customer support got on the line she was super friendly and took care of the issue quickly. She placed a order correction and let me know I could keep the mishipped stamp set. How awesome is that!?! Not only that but the correction has already been picked and shipped!! I love SU!
