Friends Forever

 This card was made using the set Lean on Me ... it's such a cute little set that is perfect to send to a friend.  Here I used the image with the two best friends hanging out, I colored them in using my water color crayons!!  (love those!!)  I chose the colors by the DSP colors I had lying on my desk ... gotta use up those scraps!!  (Really it's because I'm too lazy to go across the room ad get some out of the drawer.)  Other than that just some simple layering and the cards done!!  Oh and I of course ran the base through the big shot using my dotted EF.  Happy Stamping!!

Little Friends

Here's a bright card I made for my secret sister last round ... I love razzleberry with daffodil!! I used the stamp set Little Friends,  I water colored the girls with my water color crayons and then added detail with the markers.  Several circle punches were used to get the different circles, window punch for the saying and the dotted scallop ribbon border punch was used on the yellow strip as well as the paper crimper.  The large decorated razzleberry scallop was made with the perfect pennant die.  Happy Stamping!!

Vaulted Card

This card has been vaulted for sooo long that I can't even remember what set I used nor could I find it ... oops. Hopefully one of my demo friends can help me out!! I love the color combo on this card it just adds a rich texture too it. I used Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Real Rose and Crumb Cake. The lace ribbon adds just the right touch too!! Creative Crew - February Catalog Focus

Join us for this months Creative Crew challenges!! Here is the challenge for the Catalog focus:

CCREW0212CF, CreativeCrew, SUO or SUM -- Catalog focus: Remember that stamp set that you just had to have? And then somehow it got tucked away on your shelf. Pull out a neglected stamp set and show it some love!

I am a purple freak and just had to make a monochrome card to showcase this set Growing Green. I stamp the flower image with white embossing powder and then used my aqua painter to wet the cardstock the ran my different markers shades throughout the images to get the color depth. Then I cut out the flowers. I wanted the ribbon to match so I used my taffeta white ribbon and ran my markers along the edge to die them .... I would use the lighter color first then the darker. I also used the new adorning accents and edgelits to create the bottom edge. I then stamped my saying and layered the flowers around it add a few pearls and the card was done!! I did also heat the ribbon with my heat gun to give it the crinkled look, just be careful not to burn it!. Happy Stamping!!

Christmas Clean and Simple

I've shown a lot of 3-d things so thought I would share a few cards. This card was a swap I made waaaay back during convention and is a CAS card ( clean and simple). This card use the set Easy Events. The little red scallop peeking out along the edge is the dotted scallop ribbon border punch. I colored the holly in with my markers then added some iridescent ice to the red berries to give a little bit of sparkle! Happy Stamping!!

Trick or Treat Letterpress Plate

This was a swap I made for convention as a Halloween swap I did over at the Stampin' Addicts Meet and Greet! I love this letterpress plate. It's a lot of fun to use and always looks cool. I teamed this up with the spider from Dark and Dreary. That spider really made this card pop! Happy Stamping!

Simple Stepped Up

As promised I took the card from my last post and added a few things to step it up a bit.

I added the whisper white piece that I punched with the scallop ribbon punch to one side. Adding the one piece along the side brightened up the card quite a bit. To blend in the center I sponged my versamarker along the sides of the card and embossed some iridescent ice to it. That tied the whole piece in together and really made it sparkle. Just by adding a few things you can really step up a card! Happy Stamping!!

Calendar Step Up

To go with the last two posts was this desk calendar. In order to step it up I added a cover and decorations to it and I think it came out super cute!!

I ran a border along the top and used my dotted scallop ribbon punch. The flowers were made using the Blossom Party die, my big shot and some felt. As with the card I shared the other day I attached the flowers with brads. It sure made my plain calendar stand out! Happy Stamping!!

Border Card

Here is the card I made that accompanied the flower pin.

Just a simple card that was decorated on the bottom only. I used the Flower Blossom die to cut out the flowers. I crimped the blue piece and used my dotted scallop ribbon punch. I attached the flowers using brads. Happy Stamping!!

Tags til Christmas

I played around quite a bit with the Tags til Christmas stamp set.


This first card I kept adding too trying to get it right and hopefully I didn't over do it. It's much prettier in person; when trying to get a good picture all the sparkles came out more pronounced then they are.



This next card was kind of fun. I think the elements would also look great in a scrapbook page along the bottom as a border. I tried using the Smooch Ink along the design on the ornament and I think I need to learn how to use that stuff better but I really like how it shimmers.

Welcome to Stampin' Addicts Holiday Mini Blog Hop!! When I got the new mini I just knew I had to everything in it and if you didn't already you will by the time this hop is over!! In this hop we are featuring 22 items from the Holiday Mini as well as many of the accessories! So come join the fun!!

On my blog I am featuring the stamp set Tags til Christmas!! This was one of those sets I just had to have and if you are like me I love to wrap packages all pretty for Christmas. This set is a great way to add something extra special to those packages with a handmade tag! So for my first project I made this super cute kid's shaker tag!!

Stinkin' cute huh!?! What kid wouldn't love this on their package AND to keep it well after their present has been opened. On this project I used the Treat Cups and Silver Glass Glitter as well as the Jolly Jingles jumbo wheel all from the Holiday Mini. I used the new Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and Rhinestones from the big catty.

Even though this set was created for the use of making tags you can also you it to make cards.

I had so much fun making this card ... it took me a bit to get all the elements just right but love how it came out!!I used the ornament stamp and punched out several using the matching punch from the big catty. I also used the Jolly Jingles wheel in this project as well on the background Certainly Celery cardstock piece. To add a bit more texture I also used a button from the Candy Cane designer buttons also found in the Mini. I needed a bit more white around the button and since I didn't have any buttons in that color I made my own with a piece of white cardstock; it worked perfectly! Now you are probably wondering how I made the lace around the ornament. It's actually pretty simple I just punched a long piece of cardstock out with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch from the big catty. I folded peaks and valleys all round each of the indents. Pretty neat. Love the extra texture it gave!

Now this last project was the first one I made for the hop and my absolute favorite project!!

It's a tag holder ... perfect to give to others to use on their gift packaging needs!! I love the vintage and elegant design of this project. Here is what it looks like all opened up.
