Demo Get Together Project

It's been a bit since I made this project and I believe this made during our local demo get together. If I recall correctly it was designed by Judi. It's one of those 6x6 purses. I've since made some larger one's I'll share soon. I hope to get a tutorial together to show just how to make them but things are still very busy and a bit crazy! Happy Stamping!

Birthday Folder

For this project I used the petite pocket die to make this little Birthday Gift card holder! I used the cupcake stamp from Easy Events, I created the two toned look by using my markers and then using my aqua painter to pull color to the rest of the image. And of course added a bit of iridescent ice to the frosting to add a bit of sparkle to it. I used several punches to create the added layers to my pocket holder and added a bit of twine. Stampin' Addicts Occcasions Mini Blog Hop - Send Me Soaring

It's Stampin Up! time for a new mini catalog so that means it's time for another awesome Stampin' Addicts blog hop featuring the 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog! I love the fun and exciting new accessories in this mini!!

There are only 16 stops on the hop this time around and if you are hoping in order you just came from Debra's site Heartfelt Inkspiration where she is featuring the new Embosslits Die - Fashionable Hearts. This die is for sure on my must have list (along with many other things!)!!!


The set I am showcasing today is the set Send Me Soaring! Ijust had to have this set as I have many pages to scrap with pics of my boys flying kites when they were smaller. Kite flying was one of their favorite afternoon activities. My first project is this simple but fun card.

My next project I used the petite pocket die to create this awesome gift card holder!

Lastly I was trying to come up with something different to do with this set and the kite with the circles reminded my of a graham cracker so I came up with this little beauty!

Merry Christmas!!

I hope that each of you have gotten to spend time with your Family and Friends during this holiday season! Here is my last Christmas project I have to share ....


It's a cute little gift card holder I made using the stocking die. To keep the gift card staying close to the cuff when I tape the two stocking together I ran a length of tape across the middle so the gift card would not slide down into the card. Happy Stamping!!

Giftable Class Project #4

This next project I got from my secret sister so I'm not sure who to credit with the original idea.

When I received it in the mail I knew I would be recreating it for this class! It's perfect for all those holiday gift cards we all give!! Just a super fun way to dress it up!! The girls at the class loved it!! Happy Stamping!!

Gift Cards Galore

Hope you all are having a Very Merry Christmas!! Just wanted to show you the different gift cards holders I made for my gift card gifts this year.

The top and bottom ones are for your average gift card size and the one in the middle is for those larger gift cards like I Tunes. Enjoy your day and Happy Stamping!!

Simple Gift Card Holder

A few weeks ago several of us got together and hosted a Christmas class. We each created a couple of projects. This first one was inspired by willsygirl over at Stampin' Addicts.


It's just a quarter piece of card stock folder in half and sealed on the ends. The red piece slides in and out of the pocket to holder the gift card. They took no time to put together and really doll up your gift cards!! Happy Stamping!

Christmas Giftables Class - Project #1

I haven't had a chance to post in awhile as I have been feverishly creating things for my Christmas Giftables class. If you already ready for my class tomorrow I have to say that you will not be disappointed!!

Here is one of the projects we will be creating tomorrow.

Isn't it great!! I love how the big shot can be used on all kinds of different materials. This little pocket can be used for a gift card holder as seen here or perfect for other small gifts like movie tickets, tea bag holder, for candy canes, jewelry ... you get the idea!! I did stitch the edge free hand but the project is small so it only takes a minute! Happy Stamping!!

I have lots of projects to share with you using one of my favorite specialty papers Rockabilly! It's right up there with my favorite stamp set Just Jawing, which I also used!! This paper set has a special added touch to it in that it has a glossy finish.


The first one I want to share with you is little project I call a Flip Scrap Card.

This little beauty folds down to 5x6", a great size for a card but when you open it completely it is 5x12".

Each flap opens revealing another page. You can add pictures, quotes or journaling, it all depends on what you want to do. It may seem like it use a long of paper but it only took 1 sheet of DSP, and half a sheet each of colored cardstock.

Recipe: Stamp Set - Just Jawing; Cardstock - Rockabilly Specialty DSP, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, and Whisper White, Basic Black; Ink - Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Versamark; Accessories - White Embossing Powder, Clear Embossing Powder, Versamarker, Real Red Pen, Old Olive Pen, White Gel Pen, 5/8" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals, Scallop Punch, Scallop Border Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Handheld Circle Punch.

I wanted a fun boy/tween card and this one did just the trick.

It's bright and fun. The glossy DSP adds just the perfect touch giving it the Rock & Roll feel to it.

Recipe: Stamp Set - Just Jawing; Cardstock - Pacific Point, Rockabilly Specialty, Going Gray, Basic Black; Ink - Versamark; Accessories - White Embossing Powder, Black Embossing Powder, White Gel Pen, Star Punch, Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon.

This next one is perfect way to spruce up those gift cards we give; especially for a teenager.

The belly band slips around to keep the gift card closed.

Recipe: Stamp Set - Just Jawing; Cardstock - Going Gray, Rockabilly Specialty; Ink - Riding Hood Red, Versamarker; Accessories - Basic Gray, Black Shrinky Dink, Black Eyelets, Glue Dots, Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Slot Punch, Heat Gun, Glue Dots.

Next here's a girlie card ... as a matter of fact this is the one my Mom is getting for Mother's Day ... ssh don't tell her.

This one I actually had a hard time trying to get just the way I wanted but finally it all fit together.

Recipe: Stamp Set - Great Friend; Cardstock - Baja Breeze, Rockabilly Speciality, Whisper White; Ink - Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Versamarker; Accessories - White Embossing Powder, Pretties Kit, White Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals.

My last project is this rockin' 6x6 scrapbook page.

I just love this skull and it works perfectly with this sheet from rockabilly! I want a more masculine eye so I punched the hearts out with the circle punch and layered behind it with basic black paper and added the kiwi kiss pupils with the handheld punch. To give him a bit of color I watercolored the bones to match the paper.

Recipe: Stamp Set - Just Jawing; Cardstock - Rockabilly Specialty, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Basic Black; Ink - Kiwi Kiss, Versamarker; Accessories - Black Embossing Powder, Black Eyelets, Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Basic Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionls, Aquapainter, 1/2" Circle Punch, 1/16" Handheld Circle Punch.

Can you believe after doing all of these projects I still had 9 full sheets, 2 2/3 sheets, and some scraps left over. These paper packs are a FANTASTIC value.
