My first project of the year and new catty info

I had the opportunity to spend an evening with some fellow demonstrators and good friends. It is always such fun to get together with these gals talking. laughing and of course stamping. This month Sharon showed up how to make this super cute pouches :

It's kinda hard to tell in the picture but the top flap opens and there is a page protector for the pouch.

I had previously been given one by Sharon when she was my big sis in an exchange we had and had soo been wanting to recreate one so I am glad I finally had a chance to. The rub ons work fantastic with this project and definitely add extra zing to the project! So what do you think?? Cute huh!! The other great thing is that it is quick and simple to put it together!! Gotta love that!

Ok and since I've been such a slacker I'm just now adding the New Catalog to my blog along with the new Spanish Supplement as well as the update decor elements brochure. All of the can be found by clicking on their pictures on the right hand column. I am excited to see some new boy stamps and great accessories. As soon as I am feeling a bit better I will be planning my open house to share new projects with you all. I'll keep you posted when I get everything scheduled.

Oh and I also wanted to share my most favorite set this catalog It's actually in the Spanish supplement but I so adore this set. She is definitely going to be on my first order even though I have no girls to use it for but I just have to have it!!!! Well now that I finally have this post ready to go after working on it for 3 days ... Happy Stamping!!

Your project turned out great. Sorry to hear that you have been having trouble crafting. That has to be tough.

Carmen...SO sad to hear you were in an accident. Please heal quickly!!! It really sucks when you are too sore to sit to create! This I have first hand knowledge on!(very very recently too)

The little pouch project looks really clever. Are there instructions anywhere for that sort of pouch?

I love your project and do hope you are on the mend soon! Accidents are so difficult to know how much recovery is needed because new things come out even a few weeks later. Take care!
