Happy Easter ... Ears to You!

Happy Easter!  I hope that you all are enjoying the day with your Family and Friends!! I actually had a holiday off ... woohoo!!

This is a simple card I made using the Ears to You single stamp set.  I have loved all the single stamp set options that Stampin' Up! has offered but I think this one is my favorite!!  I was so happy when they announced that they were going to extend the offer so if you haven't gotten this set yet there is still time!!  Happy Stamping!!

Display Stamper Submissions

Stampin' Up! recently did a call for the opportunity to be a Display Stamper and of course I wanted to try out!!  So here are my submissions.I used only two stamp sets for all of my projects Swallowtail from the current mini catalog and Loving Thoughts from the main catalog.

Usually for Display Stamping you make small type projects but since this was to show my stamping style I did make some larger projects.  This first project is one of two of the 3d items I created, it's a folder pocket that I created to hold those super cute chocolate carrots.

This next project is a picture frame that I plan on hanging in my craft room ... just love the colors!!

The next three projects are my card submissions.  Each one uses the Swallowtail in a different way.

Lastly is my scrapbook page and this one is over the top!! In my opinion the picture just does not do it justice!!  It's also not the way I usually scrapbook but I still love it!!  I'm thinking this one is going to end up in a shadowbox.

Later on I will post some more information detailing each project, supplies, closeups and how I got so many different sizes of butterfly's with just one stamp ... so stayed tuned!  Happy Stamping!!

Over the Top Butterfly!

Remember how I was saying sometimes I need to go simple well this isn't one of those times ... this one is a little over the top!! Oh so pretty but over the top!  This was definitely one of those cards that should be hand delivered.  I cut out the butterfly with the butterfly die and then added some stamping to their wings with the set Vintage Vogue (now retired) and a bit of sponging.  I then layered them onto a rosette I made with the Designer Rosette die which gives this card a lot of width.  Then added ribbon, pearls some shimmer paint and poof all prettied up!!  Happy Stamping!!

Zoo Review Zebra

Zoo Review has been a favorite set of mine and here is another card I made using the Zebra stamp.  I went with an unusual color scheme here by using Pumpkin Pie which really brightened up the card.  I stamped the Zebra with Staz On then added some more "color" to him my water color crayons.  Other than that it was just all about adding layers.  Happy Stamping!!

Pigtastic

This card is actually kind of strange and cute at the same time! I used the set Button Buddies ... the cute little pig one.  While I was cutting out the lattice piece I noticed the negative looked like a pigs head as well so I incorporated into the card; so it looks like a large pig head behind the pig image.  I thought the laughter saying from the set Word Play was perfect to use with this.  So I hope you got a little chuckle out of this slightly strange card!!  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin' Addicts' New Catalog Blog Hop - Blast Off

Welcome to Stampin' Addicts' New Catalog Blog Hop!! If you are following the hop in order you came from Adriana's site Escape2stamp site where she made some super cute projects from the stamp Two By Two.

I love just about everything in this catalog and I had a hard time deciding what set I was going to use for the hop.  I finally decided on set Blast Off, I've been waiting for a space set forever and I was sooo excited to see this one!  I'll be using this set often, especially in some of my scrapbooking projects!

For this duo I went with that cute little Alien as my focal image.  The card uses Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi while the Candy Wrapper uses Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. Both are simple and fun projects that can be used for small children or tweens!!

The color combo for this next duo is Night of Navy and Cherry Cobbler ... they work perfectly together!!  On this set I used some of the new Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon as well as the new Outer Space Wheel.

The next stop on the hop is Sara's site Lily's Ink Pad where she if featuring the set Bug Me!!  You are going to love her projects!!  Happy Stamping!!

Catching Up

I have a bunch of card to share that have been in my vault for the last few months. Mostly they were hidden away because I didn't want to give myself away to my secret sister. This is a card I made using the set You're My Type that was from the last mini catalog. I think the typewriter is perfect for masculine cards!! Happy Stamping!!

Here's yet another card I made using the set Easy Events!! This set is so versatile and I love using it!!  The card itself is pretty simple ... I ran the base through my big shot using the stripes ef than layered some dsp and a bit of (retired) ribbon.  I added some silver glitter paper to add some bling than attached my main piece with the cupcake.  The cupcake I colored in using my markers and aqua painter.  Happy Stamping!!

Altered Mini Kleenex Boxes

I had found some super cute mini Kleenex boxes awhile back and has been carefully saving them for the right project. I decided to use them for a giftable swap I do with some demo friends of mine. I covered the box with card stock and dsp to create a fun bright colored container then I added some bling, ribbon and butterfly die cuts. It a super easy projects and they came out waaay cute and the gals said they loved them!! Happy Stamping!

Happy Easter!!

Here are a couple of milk carton egg boxes I made for gifts. I of course use the milk carton die and punch a whole out of the front to create a window. I added a bit of cellophane to it to help keep my candy egg inside. The only stamping on the project was the Easter saying everything else was done with punches!

I hope that each of you are enjoying your day with Friends and Family! Happy Stamping!!

Cupcake Birthday!

This is another one of those projects I've had to share for a while that I'm just now getting to. (We are getting closer to the end of that pile!) This was a birthday card I designed using the set Easy Events. And you know me ... I like layers and texture and this card is full of it!! Haha!! The base was done using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder that was inked before I ran it through the big shot to give the dots some color. I then layered it with different cardstock pieces and the Real Red circle was made using the perfect pennants die. I layered the frosting to give the cupcake some depth and added a bit of ribbon and a bow and it's done!! Happy Stamping!!
