Smile!
Here is another card I made for the last round of DDSS secret sisters I did over at Splitcoast.
The DSP is Ice Cream Parlor which was from the salebration catty a few months back. And forgive me but for the life of me I can't find or remember what stamp set this was. I think my brain has gone into overtime trying to meet a deadline that is rapidly approaching!! So if you know drop me a comment so I can add the info :) Happy Stamping!!

Thinking of You
This was a card I sent to my secret sister last round. When I was editing the photo I was having a hard time getting the colors just right and this color combo blended together better in person!!
Pretty simple card using the Dreams du Jour set and some DSP from the level 1 Hostess pack. Happy Stamping!!

Vintage Vogue Wow Swap
Oops not sure what happened with the disappearing post but here it is again.
Last month I participated in a Wow swap. This was the card that I made.

I think I am the only person who cringes at the site of this DSP ... I find them such weird colors and the designs to be really strange. I got caught up with ordering it since it was a special but yikes!! A little bit of playing around with it I was able to make it work. Maybe it will coordinate with the new in colors we get in July and I will find it easier to use .. let's hope! This is one of the many things I love about Stampin' Up is the variety of items they sell and there is always something for someone no matter what your tastes are. Happy Stamping!

I didn't have enough paper to go with the Paisley Petals DSP so I had to do them in two different colors schemes. I was surprised in how different they seem by just changing the color. After I sent them off I changed the Peach Parfait one by adding the embossing with the tulip folder, I wish I had done that with all of them but either way they were still cute!

Christmas Swap
There is this bunch of great gals I get to swap with and we all have become great friends. We do an annual Christmas swap and this was the card I made.

I love that Northern Flurry die and I have used it on a ton of projects!! After I embossed it I sponged on some riding hood red over it to add a bit of color. I also stamp some snowflakes from the set Serene Snowflakes. I added the saying from Christmas greetings. Lastly I added a few rhinestones, some shimmer paint, and ribbon. Happy Stamping!!

Display Stamper Project #3 - So Many Thanks
Here is another So Many Thanks Card. This one is smaller than your standard card at 3 1/2x3 1/2.

I used the main So Many Thanks image in background strip as well as the Thanks for the strip sentiment. I created the flower using a long strip of cardstock and on one edge I used the eyelet border punch. I then tacked in the sentiment with a larger rhinestone brad. Lastly I spritzed it with some shimmer mist spray. Happy Stamping!!

Display Stamper Project #6 - Just Believe
Here was the scrapbook page I turned in. I didn't really have any picture that lent itself to this stamp except some pictures from one of our cub scout camp outs. I had a few different flower ones but decided to use the one with the rainbow to go with the sentiment.

I love how this page turned out and the image embossed with black worked perfectly with the tree from my picture. I think what I like most about it is the colors it really ties the whole project together! Happy Stamping!

Display Stamper Project #3 - Thinking of You/Just Believe
I very rarely make a Thinking of You card and since I was trying to stretch my creativity with the Just Believe set I thought the smaller flower trio would be a good use for that.

I embossed the base with Elegant Bouquet embossing folder then sponged Melon Mambo to darken it up. I also did a light coat of iridescent ice to give it a bit of sparkle and to match the flowers. Happy Stamping!

Display Stamper Project #3 - Hearts Galore
I wanted to make another card using the hearts but not your traditional pink and red colors. So I made it using Daffodil Delight and Chocolate Chip.
Very very simple but I think it was cute. The card is slightly larger than your regular but I forgot to measure it before I sent it off, maybe 6x5 1/2. It still seems to be missing something maybe a few hearts by the tag. Oh well it has already been displayed. Happy Stamping!!

Simple Flower
I made this card for my secret sister during the last round.
I made it using the set punched posies. I believe the colors I used was Riding Hood Red and Cherry Cobbler. I kept it pretty simple for ease in mailing ... I've had several problems with cards sent through the PO ... but it is still pretty cute!! Happy Stamping!
