Apple Crumble Recipe Card

Everything here is still crazy and hectic so hopefully in the next few weeks things will start to slow down and I'll be able to keep up with my stamping so I will have more projects to share. Here is a 6x6 recipe card I did for a swap.

I love how the Certainly Celery looks with Night of Navy it's one of my favorite colors combos that I hardly ever use. Happy Stamping!

Merry Christmas!! I hope that you had a wonderful day and were able to spend time with your families. We had a white Christmas here as it continues to snow. We have about 2 ft of snow on the ground due to the last few weeks of ontinuous snow. The front of our door looks very much like this picture frame I made.

Gift Swap Tag Holder

I belong to this awesome yahoo group and we did a gift swap. I decided to make a tag booklet holder. This is what I came up with.
I made about 20 of them. I used small envelopes to hold the gift tags. Here is a closer version of one.

Lastly here are the 5 different tags I put in them.

Cub Scout Project

For some reason I spent all day yesterday thinking it was Tuesday hence why I had a Technique Tuesday posted on Monday. So today I'm just going to share with you the project my cub scouts did for the holidays.


First they made this little ornament. I cut out Joy in the raw vinyl using my big shot and Cheer decorative strip. All they had to do was stick it on and add glitter, fake snow, and the ribbon on top. It came out pretty cute!!

Next they made the bottle cover for their ornament to go into. Basically just cut around the center of the bottle filled it with filler put the ornament in the middle and sealed the bottle and covered it with paper.
Then they decorated their canning jar with cheer also cut out from raw vinyl and added ribbon. The last thing they did was mix the cocoa to go into their jar. For the cocoa they used the recipe below.


The boys had a lot of fun but they sure made a mess!! Typical of boys ... lol. Happy Stamping!

Technique Tuesday - Christmas Card Box

A few posts back I shared with you all the card holder I made. Well since I had 2 sets of cards I made a second one with slightly different colors. I also thought I would share how I made it.


Cut a piece of cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Stamp on the front side randomly covering the cardstock.









Score at 1/2" front each side (the long side). Turn your paper and score at 4" and 4 1/2 ".









Using scissors trim along the center 2 scorelines to where they meet on both sides.








Turn over to the stamped side. Tape or glue the center tab on both sides. I found that I like the Tombo Multi Purpose Adhesive the best, it won't come apart at all!









Fold the tab in and then add more adhesive along the long ends on both sides and fold in.

It should look like this.

Make the top following the same procedure except the card stock piece will be 5"x 5 1/2". Tuck your cards inside then cover with the top.

Christmas Planner

This is actually a project from last year. I made it using the thin brown mailing envelopes. I believe it was 4x6 size.

For the covers I used the cardboard that comes with most papers and covered it with DSP. Lastly I punched holes on the side and used jump rings to hold them all together. Each envelope you could designate to hold different things, such as a planning calendar, receipts, gift list, and what ever else you could think of. Happy Stamping.

Card Holder

I had made an extra set of my snow burst cards, I had wanted to use them for a gift. I decided that I need a holder for them so I whipped out this nifty box. The Riding Hood Red piece is the top. Isn't it cool!? Happy Stamping!
