Simple Alien Cards

If you joined us for the Stampin' Addicts Birthday Blog Hop then you've seen a grouping of these next projects. I wanted to share a bit more information about each one. So today I'm going to start with the first grouping.

This card is pretty simple and straight forward, it measures 4x4. For the base I used soft suede and just crimped a small section to add some dimension. The word Celebrate is from the set A Little Birthday Cheer. The focal image is from Greetings, Earthling which is such a fun little set that I think everyone should have backed on Bermuda Bay cardstock. I used crystal effects to cover the space mask for added depth. Tossed in some Crushed Curry ribbon and star. I used my markers to color in the image for bold colors.

Next was this little party treat favor. I used the holder that my C clear block came in. I used the same stamps and color scheme that I used in making the card. Everything but the little alien is on the inside of the clamp shell case. I also used crystal effects on the stomach and eyeball for added dimension. The mini pez candies I picked up at a dime store.
