Throwback Tursday - Just Soccer

Since I live in a household full of guys (even our pets are male) I get every sports set that SU has made over the years and I still find occasions to use them! I was in need of a treat holders to go with my Son's soccer Coach's card.

I made the box using box #2 die and my big shot! I grunged it up with the Extreme Elements set before I put it together. I then put two boxes together to create the crate that would hold their goodies. Then I just added some ribbon and the focal point and you have a great little gift to give!! Happy Stamping!!

Display Stamper Project #7 - Just Believe

This was one of the two 3-d items. you can't tell from the picture but this is a calendar.

I used versamark to create the tone on tone image in the background, wrapped some ribbon along the bottom edge. Then I created the tag and added the saying "Life" to go with the calendar theme. I also sprayed a bit of smooch spritz onto the tag because it seemed a bit too white. Happy Stamping!!

Display Stamper Project #6 - Just Believe

Here was the scrapbook page I turned in. I didn't really have any picture that lent itself to this stamp except some pictures from one of our cub scout camp outs. I had a few different flower ones but decided to use the one with the rainbow to go with the sentiment.

I love how this page turned out and the image embossed with black worked perfectly with the tree from my picture. I think what I like most about it is the colors it really ties the whole project together! Happy Stamping!

Stepping it Up

With swapping you can get all kinds of ideas ... it's the best part of swapping!! You can sure get a variety of swaps from simple to wow and actually I stamp the same way; sometimes it's simple and sometimes it's over the top!

Take this swap card I shared with you yesterday using the jumbo Baby Tee wheel:

and show how you can step it up with a few extra accessories:

Adding a few brads and some ribbon really makes it pop!! So no matter what kind of swap you get in return it's really all about the idea!! Happy Stamping!!

Swaps

At any SU get together there are always swap mania!! I love to swap and since it was convention I wanted to make a bunch of swaps so I was trying to figure out the best way to get my use out of one sheet of card stock. I was able to come up with 6 and you still get a pretty good sized card. I was surprised when a few gals wouldn't swap because it wasn't a full sized card; oh well I still thought the card was cute!! I used the Baby Tee's jumbo wheel and I did several varieties. Here they are:

The last two are my favorite!! Happy Stamping!

Display Stamper Project #5 - Just Believe

This is the last card project using Just Believe. I wanted to do something different than all the rest of the cards so I made this CAS card.

It's kind of hard to see in the picture but the larger circles are stamped with the circle image, I had to use versamark because the new ink colors were not available yet. I then punched several sizes of circles to even the row out. I liked how it came out and it was funny my hubby said it's a little plain and I tried explaining CAS (clean and simple) type cards but he wasn't getting it. It was the one card that really stood out on the boards because it was so different! Happy Stamping!

Display Stamper Project #4 - Just Believe

I believe this was the first card I created using the Just Believe stamp and it is a slightly larger card than your average one.

I picked these colors because they all happened to be laying on my desk. Very scientific huh? I added the color to the stamped image by sponging them and did a light spritz of water on them before stamping the image onto cardstock. On the brads to add color I dropped some reinker on them then added some crystal effects over the top to seal the color in. Happy Stamping!!

Throwback Thursday - Butterfly Trio

All A Flutter has not been retired for very long but it is one of my favorite butterfly stamps ... I have them all since I started using SU! this card is a simple and quick card.

I just stamped the butterfly in the same 3 colors as the card stock pieces I used. Blues and purple look good together!! Happy Stamping!!

Display Stamper Project #3 - Thinking of You/Just Believe

I very rarely make a Thinking of You card and since I was trying to stretch my creativity with the Just Believe set I thought the smaller flower trio would be a good use for that.

I embossed the base with Elegant Bouquet embossing folder then sponged Melon Mambo to darken it up. I also did a light coat of iridescent ice to give it a bit of sparkle and to match the flowers. Happy Stamping!

Display Stamper Project #2 - Just Believe

Here is the next card I created for Just Believe.

Sort of rustic in the colors and style. I colored the image with my markers to get all the colors. I also spritzed it with smooch spritz. I really did try to make things that weren't my typical style to show the versatility of the stamp set which you will see as I show all the projects I made. Happy Stamping!!

Display Stamper Project #1 - Just Believe

Ready to see the projects I made using Just Believe? I have to be honest I didn't like this set when I got it and was surprised that when the catty came out everyone else loved it. After working with it for a few months I have actually begun to really like it. Here is a quick and simple card I made for the display boards using it.

Very simple but beautiful! One of my favorites for sure!! Happy Stamping!!

Punch Potpourri

I'm not sure if any of you are like me but I get excited when I earn a free hostess set!! This was one of those sets I just had to have and I love it because it coordinates with many of our punches. This was the first card I made using Punch potpourri.

I got this color combo right out of our new color coach and probably would have never put them together before but they look yummy together!! Happy Stamping!

Display Board Project #8 - Paisley Prints

Here is the last project I created for the Paisley Print set. This one was my favorite project and the one that did not make the display boards.

To the right is an up close picture of one of the leaves. I first inked the leaf in Pumpkin Pie then sponged on Chocolate chip to give it the two toned color. Since I keep my pads juicy I was able to use clear embossing right over the stamped image to help give it a bit of sheen and make the leaves a bit more durable. Happy Stamping!!

Display Stamper Project #7 - Paisley Prints

I still have two more projects to share using Paisley Prints before I move on the next set.

This page was 8 1/2 x 11. Not my usually scrapbooking size at all, but I like how it came out. These were pictures of my boys when went out for a hike along the trails at Snowbowl. Happy Stamping!

Throwback Thursday - Just Soccer

Here is another Throwback Thursday this time using the set Just Soccer. I actually have another project to share using this stamp set that I will show at another time. Here is a card I made for my son's AYSO soccer Coach.

The one above I thought was missing something so I added the stars from Extreme Elements to create the one below.
The silver ribbon and white brads are from my hoarding over the years so everything is still 100% Stampin' Up! Happy Stamping!
