I played with this card quite a bit trying to get the color combo and orientation right and it almost went out the window. I used one edge of framed tulips embossing folder on the bottom edge of this card, I thought it represented a watery edge. On the base of the card I stamped the captain's log stamp and if you look closely I stamped it upside down .. oops. You probably would have never noticed though. The red strip is the Nautical Expedition DSP which I wrapped some of that yummy bakers twine around the one edge ... I am going to love that stuff!! Will definitely have to get more! The boat image I originally did in white craft ink only but when I added the brads to fill in some space it make it look washed out and more like a ghost ship with my sponged edges ... which looked cool but didn't have enough punch for this card. It'll get reincarnated with some skulls stamps later

Open Sea Masculine Card
As promised I will post a little more detail on my blog hop projects.
It'll get reincarnated with some skulls stamps later. So I redid it using my white embossing powder that somehow has a litle glitter in it now. I really love how this card came out and even looks better in person!! Happy Stamping!
