I have been playing with my Vintage Vogue set and the next several or more posts will all be using this set. This card I first did making it with Soft Suede and Certainly Celery, which look wonderful together.
This card was super simple to make and would be a great swap type card! Then I made the same card using Rich Razzleberry and Certainly Celery. These colors go well together too!
The picture has the colors a bit off but you get the idea. I think I like the first one better ... what do you think? I also sprayed the white cardstock base with shimmer paint. Happy Stamping!

Hearts Galore
I wanted to make a card for Valentine's day so show at my workshop but when I went to go create it I realized I did not have any current heart type stamp sets. I know the shame huh?!?1 Well let's just say that will be corrected as soon as my order gets here on Monday! So even without any current sets I was able to create this little card!
Isn't it pretty? I like the non traditional colors and that I can give it to my hubby since it isn't girly. So how did I make this without any heart type stamps you ask? I took the A to Z mini background stamp and stamped it with Bravo Burgundy and punched t out with the Full Heart punch. All the little ones are punch using the Heart to Heart punch. The lighter blue hearts were made by mixing my shimmer paint with night of navy and bordering blue re-inkers and sponging them on paper before I punched them. Problem solved!! So don't forget about all the punches SU has to offer! Happy Stamping!

A Quick Birthday Card
Well it's been a snowed filled few days!! We have gotten several feet of snow in just a span of a few short days .... I believe about 5ft so far and it is still coming. I'm telling you I am sooo glad we invested in a snow blower last year or there would have been so way to shovel all this snow. The picture on the left is my back yard and the one on the right is the play area behind our yard. If you look closely you can see about 18 inches of snow on the birdhouse.
I did get a chance to go out with a few friends for lunch to celebrate their birthdays! Lately it has been hard for us all to get together. Here's one of the cards I made:
This card can be made in less then 10 minutes!! My king of card! I used the stamp set Bitty Birthday, it's just too cute of a set! I wanted to to be nice and bright since it's so gloomy with all the snow. I had another card but I forgot to take a picture before I sealed it. Anyways Happy Stamping!!

Felt Valentine
I think I've become addicted to felt ... using the big shot make's it so easy to use and not too mention fun!
I put ton of elements into this card, way more than I normally ever do! The leaves are made using the faux flannel technique. I made the flowers with my big shot and the Baskets and Bloom die, I did a quick stitch in the center flowers to gather it a bit. I made the flower pot using the ornaments die from the last mini catalog. Lastly the border was made using the dual border technique. Hope you all like it as much as I do! Happy Stamping!

Vintage Vogue
For attending regionals we got the Vintage Vogue stamp set!! Woohoo who doesn't love to get free rubber! It's one of those great perks you get for being a demo! I really liked this set and was excited to get it. It's not one of what you would call my usual style but I still had to have it!!
I wanted this card to have a vintage feel to it which to me means lotsa of layers. Again not my usual style but I am pleased on how the card came out. The Cottage Wall dsp really works well with this set. Of course I had to add a little bling so on the center of the one flower I used microbeads, plus it added a bit more color. So what do you think? Happy Stamping!!

Phoenix Regionals
I just got back from the Phoenix regionals that Stampin Up! had for demonstrators! It was a ton of fun!! They showed us a bunch of great stuff, had door prizes, great business tips, optional to buy logo merchandise and make n takes! There was 6 make n takes but I only made this one:
Isn't it a cute 8x8 page, all of the projects they had for us to make were all super cute! I'll do the rest now that I am home. I wanted to spend the day catching up with friends I hadn't seen since convention '08 and I am glad I did. Happy Stamping!!

Skateboard Card and Certificate
One of the things my boys got for Christmas were these cards.
I had fun making this card and worked hard at not adding to many accessories to make it look "girlie". I think I balanced it quite well! Extreme Elements work perfect as an accessory stamp set to any of the extreme sports ones. I did use the shimmer paints to dirty up the edges as well as for the stars.
Inside the card I included a certificate for their choice skateboard.
I made the certificate to match using the MDS which made the whole card work together perfectly!! Of course they loved it!! Happy Stamping!!
